Capture the bleak realism of a frozen battlefield. The LIANG Model 0147 Paper Leaves (Winter 1) set is designed to replicate the withered, dark foliage of the coldest months. These ultra-thin, laser-cut paper leaves are pre-colored in somber, "dead" tones, making them the perfect detail for 1/35, 1/48, and 1/72 scale winter dioramas, from the Battle of the Bulge to modern eastern-front scenes.

Master the Atmosphere of Winter with LIANG 0147 Winter 1 Paper Leaves

When the temperature drops, the landscape changes. To truly capture the look of a winter environment, you need foliage that looks dormant and decayed. The LIANG Model 0147 Paper Leaves Series-Winter 1 provides modelers with botanically accurate leaves that have "died back," offering the dark, muted colors essential for high-contrast snow or frost scenes.

Why the LIANG 0147 Winter Leaves are a Scenic Game-Changer:

Authentic Withered Palette: Unlike the vibrant colors of spring or the rich tones of autumn, these leaves are finished in dark browns and skeletal greys. They provide the perfect visual anchor when placed against white snow or "iced" mud effects.
Precision Laser-Cut Shapes: Each leaf maintains its distinct species-shape but features the slightly shriveled appearance of winter decay. Even in 1/72 scale, the detail remains crisp and professional.
Scale-Accurate Paper Texture: Because they are made from specialized paper, they possess a realistic brittleness. You can easily crumple them with your fingers to show leaves that have been frozen and crushed by the treads of a passing tank.
Total Immersion for All Scales: Expertly scaled for 1/35, 1/48, and 1/72, these leaves are the ideal size for detailing everything from a Tiger tank’s engine deck to a 1/72 scout car’s wheel arches.
Essential for "Convention Quality" Builds: If you are aiming for a medal at the 2026 AMPS International Convention, these leaves provide the hyper-realistic environmental context that separates a "model on a base" from a true slice of history.

The Pro-Builder’s Workflow:
For a realistic "Hoar Frost" effect, apply a light dusting of white pigment or a "snow sparkle" powder over the LIANG 0147 leaves once they are glued in place. Use them in combination with the LIANG 0401 Shoeprint Tools to show where a soldier has stepped through a layer of frozen leaves. The contrast between the dark, decayed paper and the bright white snow creates a stunning, professional-grade visual.

Don't let your winter scenes look empty. Add the realistic detail of seasonal decay with the LIANG Model 0147 Paper Leaves - Winter 1. Available now at AFVHobbyHub.com!
