1/35 B5N2 TYPE 97 - Border BF-005

The Border Model 1/35 Nakajima B5N2 Type 97 'Kate' Carrier Attack Bomber (BF-005) is a highly detailed plastic model kit.

The Nakajima B5N2 Type 97 'Kate' was the Imperial Japanese Navy's primary carrier-based torpedo bomber throughout WWII. It played a decisive role in the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, delivering the torpedo and bomb strikes that sank or damaged much of the US Pacific Fleet's battleship row. It also participated in the sinkings of USS Lexington and USS Yorktown. By later war years, it was outclassed but remained in service in anti-submarine and training roles.
