The IBG 1/35 Bedford QLR Wireless (IBG 35017) depicts the specialized communications variant of the Bedford QL, fitted with an enclosed body to house radio equipment for mobile command and signals duties.

The 3-ton Bedford QL was one of the most widely used British trucks of the Second World War. Following prototype road tests that began in February 1940, the QL entered production in numerous configurations, and 52,145 examples were built between 1941 and 1945 for British and Commonwealth forces.

Key Features:

  • 1/35 scale injection molded plastic kit with enclosed wireless communications body
  • Bedford 28hp six-cylinder engine and chassis reproduced in detail
  • Decal sheet for period British Army markings

Ideal For:

  • British Army signals unit collectors
  • Command post and headquarters diorama builders
  • Modelers building the full IBG Bedford QL range

The IBG 1/35 Bedford QLR Wireless is a distinctive, less-common subject that adds real variety to a British transport display.
