The IBG 1/35 Büssing-NAG 4500A Late (IBG 35013) depicts the final development of the Büssing-NAG lorry series, which replaced the earlier 500A and served as the last variant produced in this influential line of German Army trucks.

Founded in 1903, Büssing is recognized as one of Germany's oldest lorry manufacturers. In 1931 the company became Büssing-NAG after acquiring AEG's subsidiary NAG, and went on to produce a broad range of lorries with payloads from 1.5 to 11.5 tons that formed a backbone of German Army logistics throughout the Second World War.
