The Amusing Hobby 1/35 Elefant Sd.Kfz.184 German Heavy Tank Destroyer (35A033) brings one of WWII’s most formidable armored vehicles to your workbench with exceptional detail and engineering. Originally developed as the Ferdinand for the Battle of Kursk, the vehicle was later upgraded and redesignated as the Elefant, receiving improved armor, a hull machine gun, and enhanced reliability.
Armed with the powerful 88mm Pak 43/2 L/71, the Elefant was capable of destroying enemy armor at extreme ranges, making it one of the most feared tank destroyers of the war. Despite its limited numbers, it saw action on both the Eastern and Italian fronts, earning a reputation for devastating firepower and heavy protection.
Amusing Hobby’s kit captures the Elefant’s distinctive shape and battlefield presence with:
Highly detailed upper and lower hull components
Accurate 88mm gun assembly with crisp detailing
Realistic link‑and‑length tracks for natural sag
Detailed fighting compartment and exterior fittings
Clean molding and excellent part fit for a smooth build
Ideal platform for weathering, battle damage, and diorama scenes
Whether you’re recreating Eastern Front engagements or building a heavily weathered Italian campaign vehicle, this kit offers a rewarding and historically rich modeling experience. A standout addition to any German armor collection.
