Add everyday realism and civilian context to your scale modeling projects with the Matho Models 35089 1/35 Fruit Crates Set. Designed for 1/35 scale dioramas, this accessory set allows modelers to accurately depict fruit crates commonly seen in markets, supply areas, shops, and urban environments during WWII and post‑war periods.
Manufactured by Matho Models, known for high‑quality diorama accessories and fine surface detailing, these fruit crates are ideal for enhancing street scenes, marketplaces, warehouses, vehicle cargo loads, and rear‑area settings. They help introduce a lived‑in, civilian aspect to military dioramas, adding balance and narrative depth beyond combat-focused elements.
The crates can be painted and weathered to represent fresh deliveries, well‑used containers, or abandoned supplies, making them suitable for a wide range of scenarios—from intact towns to war‑damaged urban areas. They pair exceptionally well with civilian figures, vehicles, carts, posters, and building accessories.
