The Alliance Model Works LW35071 — 1/35 WWII German Tiger I Detail-Up Set (for Tamiya kit 35216) is a precision-crafted 1/35 scale Photo-Etched Detail-Up Set from one of the hobby world's most innovative US-based aftermarket manufacturers. The Tiger I (Pz.Kpfw.VI Ausf.E) entered Wehrmacht service in 1942 and immediately established itself as one of the most formidable tanks of the war. Its 8.8 cm KwK 36 gun could destroy any Allied tank at combat ranges, and its 100mm frontal armor was impervious to most Allied weapons at standard engagement distances. Though only 1,347 were built, the Tiger I cast a long shadow over Allied operations, and its distinctive silhouette became one of the most iconic images of the Second World War.
This Photo-Etched Detail-Up Set brings an immediate, dramatic improvement to your scale build, replacing soft or incomplete kit details with components engineered to true historical accuracy. Alliance Model Works products are developed by experienced modelers who understand exactly what separates a good build from an exceptional one.
