1/35 Light Covers US Sherman - Firma49 T005/35

The Firma49 T005/35 1/35 Light Covers US Sherman Tank is a premium resin detail set from Firma49 Models. Sherman tank crews operating in forward areas routinely covered headlights and auxiliary lights with protective canvas or rubber covers to prevent light leakage during blackout conditions and to shield the lenses from debris and battle damage. These light covers are a small but frequently photographed field modification visible on Shermans across every theatre of WWII — from Normandy to the Pacific — and a detail that immediately distinguishes a carefully researched build from a straight out-of-the-box assembly. Firma49 is a respected Polish specialist resin manufacturer renowned for precisely scaled 1/35 detail parts. Their T005/35 set reproduces the characteristic fabric or rubber cover texture and fastening detail at accurate 1/35 scale.
