1/35 LRDG F30 Gun truck with action figures - Thunder Model TM35312

The Thunder Model TM35312 1/35 1/35 LRDG F30 Gun Truck with Action Figures is a premium 1/35 scale kit from Thunder Model. Thunder Model is a Chinese manufacturer that has built a strong reputation for producing highly detailed 1/35 scale kits of engineering, transport, and utility vehicles — subjects that other manufacturers have largely ignored. Their range covers US Army engineering tractors and heavy wreckers, the British Scammell Pioneer family, LRDG patrol vehicles, German railway wagons, and other specialist subjects that are available from no other manufacturer in 1/35 scale.

The LRDG's Chevrolet 30-cwt gun trucks were the primary fighting vehicles of Long Range Desert Group patrols — modified commercial trucks fitted with twin or single Vickers K guns, Boys anti-tank rifles, Lewis guns, and whatever other weapons the crews could acquire. The F30 designation covers the Chevrolet WB 30-cwt variant used from 1941 onwards, representing the most visually distinctive LRDG vehicle. Thunder Model's kit includes action figure poses capturing the patrol in operation.
