The Master Box 1/35 'Maquis' – French Resistance Fighters WWII (Master Box 3551) is a highly detailed plastic model kit from Master Box Ltd., the Ukrainian manufacturer celebrated for its expressive figure sculpting, narrative diorama sets, and outstanding historical accuracy.
The French Resistance — known as the Maquis in the rural underground — fought the Nazi occupation of France from 1940 to liberation in 1944. Operating at enormous personal risk, these fighters conducted sabotage missions, intelligence operations, assisted escaped Allied airmen, and launched armed attacks on German forces. As D-Day approached, the Maquis mobilised openly, emerging from the shadows to join the Allied liberation in a dramatic transformation from clandestine fighters to armed partisans.
