1/35 Polish Cavalrymen (Uhlans) Figure Set - IBG 35050

The IBG 1/35 Polish Cavalrymen (Uhlans) Figure Set (IBG 35050) includes 4 finely sculpted figures plus 4 sprues of Uhlan weapons and equipment, depicting Poland's storied cavalry units as they fought during the September 1939 campaign.

Contrary to popular myth, Polish Uhlans did not charge German tanks with sabers and lances. Instead, they fought primarily as mobile infantry, using their horses for rapid movement before dismounting to fight with rifles, machine guns, and anti-tank weapons such as the wz.35 anti-tank rifle. Uhlan units played a key role in reconnaissance, delaying enemy advances, and conducting counterattacks, often against overwhelming odds.

Key Features:

• 1/35 scale injection molded plastic figure set with 4 figures
• 4 sprues of Uhlan weapons and equipment, including the wz.35 anti-tank rifle
• Historically accurate mobile-infantry cavalry equipment, not the popular myth

Ideal For:

• Polish September 1939 campaign diorama builders
• Collectors interested in accurately correcting the Uhlan "saber charge" myth
• Modelers pairing figures with Polish vehicle and artillery kits

The IBG 1/35 Polish Cavalrymen (Uhlans) figure set is a historically grounded and often-overlooked subject for any Polish 1939 collection.
