The MiniArt 1/35 Soviet SU-85 Self-Propelled Gun Mod. 1943 (MiniArt 35178) is a highly detailed plastic model kit from MiniArt, the Ukrainian manufacturer renowned for exceptional interior detail, historical accuracy, and innovative subject selection.
The SU-85 was developed urgently in 1943 to counter the German Panther and Tiger, mounting an 85mm gun on the proven T-34 chassis. Entering service at the Battle of Kursk, it filled a critical gap until the arrival of the T-34/85. The Mod. 1943 variant is the early production version with the distinctive rounded mantlet and original cast turret superstructure. MiniArt's SU-85 features the full fighting compartment interior the brand is celebrated for.
