The Mirage Hobby 35217 1/35 1/35 sWuR.40 28cm German Frame Rocket Launcher is a premium 1/35 scale model kit from Mirage Hobby, the Polish manufacturer specializing in inter-war and WWII light AFV subjects. Mirage Hobby is a Polish manufacturer that has carved a unique niche in 1/35 scale modeling — specializing in inter-war and early WWII subjects that no other manufacturer covers, with a particular focus on Polish, French, and British light tanks and carriers of the 1930s. Their kits often represent the only 1/35 scale treatment of their subjects, making them essential for collectors of these specialist eras.

The 28cm/32cm Wurfkörper frame rocket launcher — fitted to captured Renault UE carriers and other vehicles — was Germany's improvised field rocket artillery system of the early Eastern Front campaigns. The wooden or metal launch frames held the distinctive 28cm Spreng (high explosive) or 32cm Flamm (incendiary) rockets and were fired electrically. These improvised rocket artillery vehicles gave German infantry a formidable area-effect fire support weapon that complemented conventional artillery and were used extensively in 1941-43. This standalone launcher set can be used to add the weapon system to multiple carrier vehicles.
