1/35 UE(f)-sWG, 40/28cm Wk Spr self-propelled rocket launcher - Mirage 355018

The Mirage Hobby 355018 1/35 1/35 UE(f)-sWG 40/28cm Wk Spr Self-Propelled Rocket Launcher is a premium 1/35 scale model kit from Mirage Hobby, the Polish manufacturer specializing in inter-war and WWII light AFV subjects. Mirage Hobby is a Polish manufacturer that has carved a unique niche in 1/35 scale modeling — specializing in inter-war and early WWII subjects that no other manufacturer covers, with a particular focus on Polish, French, and British light tanks and carriers of the 1930s. Their kits often represent the only 1/35 scale treatment of their subjects, making them essential for collectors of these specialist eras.

The UE(f)-sWG was one of the most unusual improvised weapons of the Eastern Front — a captured French Renault UE carrier fitted with the 28/32cm Wurfkörper frame rocket launcher to create a simple but effective self-propelled rocket artillery vehicle. The Renault UE's small size and reliability made it an ideal carrier for the rocket frames, and these improvised vehicles served in German infantry support units from 1941 onwards. The (f) designation indicates 'französisch' (French) — a captured vehicle pressed into German service.

Key Features:

• Complete Renault UE(f) with 28cm rocket launcher frames
• German captured service markings and equipment
• Accurately modeled rocket launch frames
• Multiple marking options with decals
• Unassembled and unpainted

Ideal For:

• Eastern Front German diorama builders

• Competition modelers
• Advanced scale modelers
