The Amusing Hobby 1/35 VK7201(K) German Super Heavy Tank (35A007) brings to life one of the most ambitious and imposing armored concepts proposed by Germany during WWII. Developed by Krupp as part of the push for next‑generation breakthrough tanks, the VK7201(K) represented an early design study that would eventually influence later super‑heavy concepts such as the Löwe and E‑100.
The VK7201(K) was envisioned as a massive, heavily armored vehicle capable of mounting a high‑velocity 105mm gun and withstanding the heaviest Allied firepower. Although the project never advanced beyond the conceptual stage, its bold engineering and dramatic silhouette make it a favorite among modelers who enjoy prototype vehicles, “paper panzers,” and late‑war German armor.
Amusing Hobby’s kit captures the VK7201(K)’s imposing presence with:
Highly detailed hull and turret based on historical Krupp design studies
Impressive 105mm main gun assembly with crisp molding
Sharp surface textures and clean panel lines
Link‑and‑length tracks for realistic sag and easy assembly
Well‑engineered parts for a smooth, frustration‑free build
Large display footprint ideal for weathering, dioramas, and speculative late‑war camouflage schemes
Whether you’re building a historically inspired prototype or exploring alternate‑history scenarios, the VK7201(K) offers a visually striking and rewarding addition to any German armor collection.
