The Master Box 1/35 West European Cart with Horse – Rural WWII Diorama Set (Master Box 3562) is a highly detailed plastic model kit from Master Box Ltd., the Ukrainian manufacturer celebrated for its expressive figure sculpting, narrative diorama sets, and outstanding historical accuracy.
The horse-drawn West European cart was a ubiquitous feature of rural France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Western Germany throughout both World Wars. Identical in type to the Eastern European farm cart but with distinctly Western construction details — heavier wooden frames, iron-tyred wheels, and regional harnessing styles — these vehicles were commandeered by armies, used by fleeing refugees, and appeared in the background of countless wartime scenes from Normandy to the Rhine.
Key Features:
- 1/35 scale West European horse-drawn cart and horse
- Authentic Western European cart construction with iron-shod wheels
- Horse in harness with detailed Western tack and collar
- Ideal for Normandy, France, and Western Front diorama scenes
- Compatible with 1/35 civilian and military figure sets
Master Box is widely respected among figure modellers for its storytelling approach to kit design — each set captures a specific human moment in vivid, anatomically accurate sculpting that rewards skilled painters with museum-quality results. Master Box figures and vehicle kits are equally popular with diorama builders seeking authentic, character-driven compositions.
Ideal For:
- Western Front and Normandy diorama builders
