1/350 WWII IJN shipboard Catapult set (including resin) - Alliance Model Works NW35001

The Alliance Model Works NW35001 – 1/350 WWII IJN Shipboard Catapult Set (Including Resin) is a premium 1/350 scale aftermarket detail set from Alliance Model Works (AMW), the American manufacturer celebrated for its exceptionally precise photoetched brass, resin, and decal accessories for 1/350 scale naval warship modeling.

Shipboard aircraft catapults were fitted to most WWII IJN capital ships and cruisers to launch floatplane scouts such as the Aichi E13A 'Jake' and Mitsubishi F1M 'Pete'. The catapult allowed ships to deploy over-the-horizon reconnaissance aircraft without a flight deck and were visible on the quarterdeck or amidships of battleships, battlecruisers, and heavy cruisers. This set includes resin cradle components and photoetched structural elements for accurate IJN catapult representation.

Key Features:

• Precision photoetched brass components
• Resin components included where applicable for complex 3D shapes
• Accurate IJN warship detail researched from period photographs and plans
• Sufficient quantity for a complete IJN capital ship or cruiser
• Compatible with Hasegawa, Fujimi, Tamiya, and other 1/350 IJN kits

Ideal For:
