1/350 WWII IJN vessel watertight doors and hatch shutters - Alliance Model Works NW35012

The Alliance Model Works NW35012 – 1/350 WWII IJN Vessel Watertight Doors and Hatch Shutters is a premium 1/350 scale aftermarket detail set from Alliance Model Works (AMW), the American manufacturer celebrated for its exceptionally precise photoetched brass, resin, and decal accessories for 1/350 scale naval warship modeling.

WWII IJN warships featured distinctive oval watertight doors and circular hatch covers of various sizes throughout superstructures, lower decks, and hull sides. The IJN's characteristic door and hatch hardware — including the dogs (locking handles) and coaming frames — differs from Allied patterns. This photoetched set provides correctly scaled doors, hatches, and associated hardware for detailing a complete IJN warship superstructure.

Key Features:

• Precision photoetched brass components
• Resin components included where applicable for complex 3D shapes
• Accurate IJN warship detail researched from period photographs and plans
