1/35 GOUMIER 35-GOUM-06 - BlackSnake 35-GOUM-06

The BlackSnake 35-GOUM-06 1/35 Goumier – French Moroccan Infantry No.6 is a premium 1/35 scale resin figure — a single individually sculpted resin figure from BlackSnake, the French manufacturer specializing in premium resin military figures of rare, specialist, and underrepresented subjects — with a particular strength in French forces of all eras.

The Goumiers — Moroccan tribal soldiers serving in the French Army under French officers — were among the most effective infantry of the Second World War, particularly renowned for their mountain-fighting capability. The Goums fought with exceptional effectiveness in Italy (particularly at Monte Cassino and in the Aurunci Mountains), in Corsica, Elba, and France. Wearing their distinctive djellaba over French Army equipment and armed with a mix of American and French weapons, Goumiers present one of the most visually distinctive infantry subjects of the entire war. BlackSnake's Goumier series captures these exceptional soldiers in authentic detail.
