1/35 Kieffer WW2 35-K-06 - BlackSnake 35-K-06 - K_06

The BlackSnake 35-K-06 1/35 Kieffer WW2 – French Commando No.6 is a premium 1/35 scale resin figure — a single individually sculpted resin figure from BlackSnake, the French manufacturer specializing in premium resin military figures of rare, specialist, and underrepresented subjects — with a particular strength in French forces of all eras.

Commandant Philippe Kieffer led the only French unit to land on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day — the 1er Bataillon de Fusiliers Marins Commandos, trained alongside British Commandos and landing with them at Sword Beach on 6 June 1944. These men — volunteers from Free France — wore British Commando uniforms with French insignia and fought with distinction through the liberation of Colleville-sur-Mer, Ouistreham, and the subsequent campaign in Northwest Europe. BlackSnake's Kieffer series captures individual French Commando figures in authentic period uniforms and equipment.
