The Bronco Models 1/35 US 155mm Howitzer M114A1 (CB35102) is a highly detailed plastic model kit from Bronco Models, a Hong Kong–based manufacturer renowned for exceptional historical accuracy and fine surface detail.
The M114 155mm howitzer was the standard US Army medium artillery piece from World War II through the Vietnam War era. Entering service in 1942, it provided divisional artillery units with a powerful 155mm shell with a range of approximately 14,600 metres. The M114A1 was an improved variant with a revised breech mechanism. It saw extensive service in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, firing millions of rounds in support of ground operations. Despite being replaced by the M198 from the 1970s, the M114 remained in service with many nations into the 21st century.
