1/35 Russian Heavy Tank KV-85 - Bronco Model CB35110

The Bronco Models CB35110 1/35 Russian Heavy Tank KV-85 is a premium 1/35 scale plastic model kit representing one of the finest examples of military modeling available at AFVHobbyHub.com. This tank / heavy kit covers Soviet Union forces during the World War II era, offering exceptional historical accuracy and impressive detail right out of the box.

Historical Background:

The KV-85 was a stopgap Soviet heavy tank that mounted the 85mm D-5T gun (the same gun used in the SU-85 and early T-34/85) on the KV-1S hull. It entered production in August 1943 as an interim solution to counter German Tiger tanks, pending the introduction of the IS-1/IS-2 heavy tanks. Only 148 were built before the superior IS series replaced it in production, making it one of the rarer Soviet heavy tanks.

Key Features:

• 1/35 scale injection-molded plastic kit
• Complete KV-85 with new 85mm turret accurately reproduced
• Detailed D-5T gun barrel and mantlet
• Workable track system
• Photo-etched detail parts
• Multiple 1943-1944 Soviet marking options
• Excellent display as part of a Soviet heavy tank progression
