The Bronco Models 1/35 German Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf.A (Sd.Kfz. 141) (CB35134) is a highly detailed plastic model kit from Bronco Models, a Hong Kong–based manufacturer renowned for exceptional historical accuracy and fine surface detail.
The Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf.A was the first production variant of Germany's principal medium tank of the early WWII period. Developed in the late 1930s, the Ausf.A was an experimental series of only 10 vehicles featuring a distinctive five-road-wheel suspension, armed with a 3.7cm KwK gun in a three-man turret. Although it served briefly in Poland (1939) and France (1940), the Ausf.A's suspension was quickly replaced by the more reliable torsion-bar system in subsequent variants. It is an important and visually distinctive early chapter in the Panzer III's development story.
