The Bronco Models CB35139 1/35 US M24 Chaffee Light Tank (Korean War) is a premium 1/35 scale plastic model kit representing one of the finest examples of military modeling available at AFVHobbyHub.com. This tank / light kit covers United States forces during the Korean War era, offering exceptional historical accuracy and impressive detail right out of the box.

Historical Background:

The M24 Chaffee light tank served US and Allied forces from 1944 through the Korean War, where it was the primary US light tank deployed in 1950. The M24 was severely outclassed by the North Korean T-34/85 tanks during the initial Korean War battles, and this hard experience hastened its replacement. Despite this, the Chaffee served in many Allied nations' armies well into the 1970s and beyond, gaining a reputation as an excellent reconnaissance vehicle.

Key Features:

• 1/35 scale injection-molded plastic kit
• Korean War-specific configuration details
• Fully detailed M24 hull and twin-turret design
• 75mm M6 main gun accurately reproduced
• Photo-etched detail parts
• Multiple Korean War US Army marking options
• Accurate post-WWII equipment and stowage
