The Bronco Models 1/35 US M19A1 Twin 40mm Gun Motor Carriage (CB35148) is a highly detailed plastic model kit from Bronco Models, a Hong Kong–based manufacturer renowned for exceptional historical accuracy and fine surface detail.
The M19 Gun Motor Carriage was an American self-propelled anti-aircraft vehicle developed late in World War II, mounting twin 40mm Bofors guns on the M24 Chaffee light tank chassis. Although it arrived too late to see significant WWII combat, the M19A1 (an improved post-war variant) became one of the primary US anti-aircraft weapons during the Korean War (1950–53), providing ground forces with mobile, highly effective AA coverage against North Korean air attacks. Its twin 40mm armament also proved lethal in the direct-fire ground support role against infantry and light vehicles.
