The Bronco Models CB35172 1/35 German Schwere Wehrmachtschlepper (sWS) Heavy Half-Track is a premium 1/35 scale plastic model kit representing one of the finest examples of military modeling available at AFVHobbyHub.com. This heavy half-track / prime mover kit covers Germany forces during the World War II era, offering exceptional historical accuracy and impressive detail right out of the box.

Historical Background:

The Schwere Wehrmachtschlepper (sWS, 'heavy army tractor') was a German heavy half-track introduced in 1943 as a simplified replacement for the complex and expensive Sd.Kfz.9. Capable of towing loads up to 8 tonnes, it served as a prime mover for heavy artillery pieces including the 15cm heavy howitzer and 8.8cm Flak guns. Its simpler, more efficient design made it easier to produce during wartime manufacturing constraints.

Key Features:

• 1/35 scale injection-molded plastic kit
• Complete sWS heavy half-track chassis and body
• Detailed cargo bed with side rails
• Workable half-track suspension system
• Photo-etched detail parts
• Multiple Wehrmacht marking and camouflage options
• Ideal as prime mover in heavy artillery dioramas

Ideal For:

• German heavy vehicle and half-track collectors
• WWII heavy artillery diorama builders
• Late-war German logistics modelers
