The Bronco Models 1/35 Canadian Cruiser Tank Ram Mk.II (Early Production) (CB35215) is a highly detailed plastic model kit from Bronco Models, a Hong Kong–based manufacturer renowned for exceptional historical accuracy and fine surface detail.
The Ram was a Canadian cruiser tank developed during WWII, based on the US M3 Lee hull and running gear but fitted with a Canadian-designed turret housing a 2-pounder (and later 6-pounder) gun. Built in Canada by Montreal Locomotive Works from 1941, over 2,000 Rams were produced. Although it never saw front-line tank combat — being superseded by the M4 Sherman before deployment — the Ram served an important role as a training vehicle in Britain and Canada, and was later converted into Kangaroo armoured personnel carriers that did see extensive combat in North-West Europe.
