1/35 Sd.Kfz.251/7 Ausf.D Pioneer Vehicle 2‑in‑1 – DAS WERK DW35030

The Das Werk DW35030 1/35 Sd.Kfz.251/7 Ausf.D – Pioneer Vehicle (2-in-1) is a premium 1/35 scale plastic model kit from Das Werk, the German manufacturer known for releasing highly accurate kits of unusual, rare, and specialist German military vehicles that other manufacturers rarely tackle.

The Sd.Kfz.251/7 was the dedicated combat engineer (Pioneer) variant of Germany's standard medium armored halftrack, uniquely fitted with two portable assault bridge sections mounted on the sides of the vehicle for crossing anti-tank ditches and small water obstacles. The 251/7 also carried a comprehensive complement of engineering equipment including demolition charges, entrenching tools, and bridging materials, making it the command vehicle and equipment carrier for Panzergrenadier Pioneer platoons. The Ausf.D variant featured the simplified angular superstructure of the late-war production standard. Das Werk's DW35030 2-in-1 kit allows the model to be built in two distinct configurations — with or without the distinctive assault bridges deployed — providing maximum flexibility for diorama and display use.

Key Features:

• 2-in-1 kit — build with or without assault bridge sections deployed
• Two assault bridge sections accurately reproduced
• Full Sd.Kfz.251 Ausf.D halftrack body with engineering equipment
• Photo-etched parts for vision ports, bridges, and detail
• Workable tracks
• Multiple marking options with decals
• Unassembled and unpainted — glue and paint sold separately

Ideal For:
