1/35 WWII British Landing Craft Assault (LCA) - GECKO 35GM0080

The Gecko Models 35GM0080 1/35 WWII British Landing Craft Assault (LCA) is a highly detailed injection-molded plastic kit from Gecko Models, the Hong Kong-based manufacturer renowned for its finely detailed military vehicles, figures, and diorama accessories covering WWII British and Commonwealth subjects, Vietnam War-era scenes, and modern military subjects.

The Landing Craft Assault (LCA) was the Royal Navy's standard assault landing craft of WWII, capable of carrying 35 fully equipped troops. Developed in the late 1930s, the LCA was armored against small arms fire and featured a hinged bow ramp for rapid disembarkation. LCAs delivered British and Commonwealth troops onto beaches from Dieppe (1942) to Normandy (June 1944), Sicily, Salerno, and Anzio. Their distinctive silhouette and the drama of amphibious assault make them iconic subjects for WWII diorama builders.

Key Features:

• Accurately detailed hull, ramp, and fittings based on original LCA references
• Photo-etched metal parts for railings and fine structural details
• Figure set included for immediate diorama use
