1/35 Sd.Kfz.223 Leichter Panzerspähwagen Funk – HobbyBoss 82443

The Hobby Boss 82443 1/35 Sd.Kfz.223 Leichter Panzerspähwagen Funk (Radio) is a premium 1/35 scale plastic model kit from Hobby Boss, the Chinese manufacturer that has built a strong reputation for producing detailed kits of unusual and specialist subjects — particularly rare Soviet, Hungarian, and pre-war vehicles — that other manufacturers have not tackled.

The Sd.Kfz.222 and Sd.Kfz.223 were the primary German light armored cars of the early war period — four-wheeled vehicles used for reconnaissance and communications duties with Panzer and motorized divisions. The Sd.Kfz.222 mounted a 2cm autocannon and MG in an open-topped turret, while the Sd.Kfz.223 replaced the weapon with additional radio equipment. These vehicles served in Poland, France, North Africa, and the Eastern Front in the fast-moving operations for which they were designed.

Key Features:

• Accurate exterior detail based on period documentation and surviving examples
