1/35 Russian T‑40S Light Tank – HobbyBoss 83826

The Hobby Boss 83826 1/35 Soviet T-40S Light Tank is a premium 1/35 scale plastic model kit from Hobby Boss, the Chinese manufacturer that has built a strong reputation for producing detailed kits of unusual and specialist subjects — particularly rare Soviet, Hungarian, and pre-war vehicles — that other manufacturers have not tackled.

The T-40 was a Soviet amphibious light tank developed in 1939-40 to replace the aging T-37/T-38 series. Featuring a more powerful engine, improved armor, and retained amphibious capability, the T-40 served in 1941 before being superseded by the simplified T-60. The T-40S was a simplified non-amphibious variant produced for speed of manufacture.
