1/35 French Saint-Chamond Heavy Tank - Early - HOBBY BOSS 83858

The Hobby Boss 83858 1/35 French St. Chamond Heavy Tank is a detailed injection-molded plastic model kit from Hobby Boss, the Chinese manufacturer renowned for its extensive range of military vehicles, ships, aircraft, and figures covering subjects from WWI through to the modern era.

The St. Chamond was France's second production tank of WWI, heavier than the Schneider CA1 and mounting a formidable 75mm field gun in its forward-projecting hull. First deployed in May 1917, the St. Chamond suffered from poor cross-country mobility due to its overhanging hull, but its powerful armament made it effective in limited roles. Some 400 were built and they served until the Armistice, representing an important milestone in French tank development.

Key Features:

• 1/35 scale injection-molded plastic kit by Hobby Boss
• Accurate WWI-era hull and armament detail
• French Army WWI marking and finishing options
• Photo-etched parts for fine structural detail
• Illustrated assembly instructions

Ideal For:
