USS Arizona (BB-39) was a Pennsylvania-class battleship of the US Navy, representing the ultimate expression of pre-war American naval power. She was sunk during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, with the loss of 1,177 men — more than half the total American deaths of the day. The wreck remains on the harbor bottom as an official war grave, now commemorated by the USS Arizona Memorial. This 1941 configuration kit captures the ship as she appeared on the day of the attack.
