1/350 USS Hawaii CB-3 - HOBBY BOSS 86515

The Hobby Boss 86515 1/350 USS Hawaii CB-3 Large Cruiser is a detailed injection-molded plastic model kit from Hobby Boss, the Chinese manufacturer renowned for its extensive range of military vehicles, ships, aircraft, and figures covering subjects from WWI through to the modern era.

USS Hawaii (CB-3) was the third and final Alaska-class large cruiser completed, commissioned in 1945. Like her sisters, she was designed to counter perceived Japanese super-cruiser threats and to operate as a fast carrier escort. Hawaii served briefly in the Pacific before the war's end and was subsequently converted for use as a command ship, though this conversion was never completed.
