1/35 GMC DUKW-353 with 105mm Howitzer - I Love Kit 63540

The I Love Kit 1/35 GMC DUKW-353 with 105mm Howitzer (ILK 63540) depicts a specialized variant of the versatile World War II amphibious truck, this time fitted with a 105mm howitzer mounted on its cargo bed. Sharing its drivetrain with the CCKW 353 truck and its boat-shaped, propeller-driven hull with the standard DUKW, this configuration turned the amphibious "Duck" into a mobile fire-support platform capable of moving between ship, shore, and inland positions.

The DUKW's amphibious capability made it invaluable during the Normandy landings and Pacific island-hopping campaigns, and howitzer-equipped variants added an artillery dimension to its already essential logistics role.

Key Features:

• 1/35 scale injection molded plastic kit with over 340 parts
• 105mm howitzer mounted on the cargo bed, accurately detailed
• Photo etched parts and metal wire detailing
• Soft resin tires for realistic weight and tread detail
• Assembled length approximately 276mm, width 78.5mm

This kit combines the DUKW's already detailed drivetrain and boat-hull engineering with an eye-catching howitzer armament, making it a distinctive addition to any WWII Allied artillery or amphibious vehicle collection.

Ideal For:

• WWII Allied artillery and amphibious vehicle collectors
• Pacific and European theater diorama builders
• Modelers seeking a unique variant to pair with the standard DUKW

The I Love Kit 1/35 GMC DUKW-353 with 105mm Howitzer is a well-detailed and unusual build that stands out in any armor collection.
