The IBG 1/35 Büssing-NAG 500A (IBG 35011) depicts the canvas-type stake body configuration of Büssing-NAG's 500-series lorry, produced between 1939 and 1941 and widely used to move troops, supplies, and equipment for the German Army.

Founded in 1903, Büssing is recognized as one of Germany's oldest lorry manufacturers. In 1931 the company became Büssing-NAG after acquiring AEG's subsidiary NAG, and went on to produce a broad range of lorries with payloads from 1.5 to 11.5 tons that formed a backbone of German Army logistics throughout the Second World War.
