1/35 FCM 36 with French Tank Crew - ICM 35338

The ICM 1/35 Panzerspähwagen P204(f) with CDM Turret (ICM 35377) depicts a small number of captured Panhard 178 armored cars that were up-gunned by the Germans with a new CDM (Camouflage de Materials) turret mounting a 47mm SA 35 gun - a significant firepower upgrade over the original 25mm weapon.

In 1934, Panhard began producing the Panhard 178 armored car for French cavalry reconnaissance units, featuring a rear-mounted engine, four-wheel drive, and a 25mm anti-tank gun. Production ran until France's defeat in June 1940, by which time 527 had been built. The type gained an excellent combat reputation in the spring 1940 campaign, and following the armistice, roughly 190 examples were absorbed into German service and redesignated Panzerspähwagen P204(f), with French factories producing several dozen more for the Wehrmacht.
