1/35 10.5cm leFH 16(Sf) auf Geschutzwagen FCM36(f), WWII German self-propelled howitzer - ICM 35340

The ICM 1/35 Panzerspähwagen (Funk) P204(f), Armoured Command Vehicle (ICM 35378) depicts a German command radio conversion of the captured French Panhard 178 armored car. To create the "Funk" command vehicle, the Germans removed the original APX3 turret and installed a fixed or open-topped armored box fitted with FuG 10 or FuG 11 radios and a large Hochantenne (elevated) frame antenna covering most of the hull's upper surface.

In 1934, Panhard began producing the Panhard 178 armored car for French cavalry reconnaissance units, featuring a rear-mounted engine, four-wheel drive, and a 25mm anti-tank gun. Production ran until France's defeat in June 1940, by which time 527 had been built. The type gained an excellent combat reputation in the spring 1940 campaign, and following the armistice, roughly 190 examples were absorbed into German service and redesignated Panzerspähwagen P204(f), with French factories producing several dozen more for the Wehrmacht.
