The ICM 1/35 P204(f) with German Armoured Vehicle Crew (ICM 35382) depicts the standard reconnaissance configuration of the captured French Panhard 178, redesignated by the Germans as Panzerspähwagen P204(f), and includes a full German armored vehicle crew to complete the build.

In 1934, Panhard began producing the Panhard 178 armored car for French cavalry reconnaissance units, featuring a rear-mounted engine, four-wheel drive, and a 25mm anti-tank gun. Production ran until France's defeat in June 1940, by which time 527 had been built. The type gained an excellent combat reputation in the spring 1940 campaign, and following the armistice, roughly 190 examples were absorbed into German service and redesignated Panzerspähwagen P204(f), with French factories producing several dozen more for the Wehrmacht.
