As an expedient solution, captured Soviet 76mm F-22 divisional guns were rebored, fitted with a muzzle brake, and had their chambers enlarged to accept a far more powerful charge - some 560 guns were converted this way and redesignated 7,62 cm Pak 36(r). Until the 7.5cm Pak 40 reached widespread service, the Pak 36(r) was the most powerful anti-tank gun in Wehrmacht service.Key Features:1/35 scale injection molded plastic kit including 4 German gunner figuresHighly detailed mounting, cradle, and laying mechanismsCan be assembled in combat or towed transport configurationIdeal For:German captured-equipment and anti-tank gun collectorsEastern Front 1941-43 diorama buildersModelers seeking a historically important stopgap weaponThe ICM 1/35 7,62 cm Pak 36(r) with German Crew tells a fascinating story of wartime improvisation and is a great addition to any German anti-tank display.
