The ICM 1/35 Battle of France, Spring 1940 - German Combat Vehicles (ICM DS3515) diorama set combines the Sd.Kfz.251/1 Ausf.A troop transport, the Sd.Kfz.251/6 Ausf.A command vehicle, the le.gl.Einheitz-Pkw Kfz.2 radio car, and a set of German drivers (1939-1945) to depict the mechanized German spearhead that broke through French defenses in May-June 1940.

Developed by Hanomag in 1938 based on the earlier Sd.Kfz.11 artillery tractor, the Sd.Kfz.251 medium half-track was the primary armored transport vehicle of the German Wehrmacht. Fully armored with an open combat compartment and rear double doors, it served in all theaters of the war, with roughly 15,252 examples built across 23 variants - second in production numbers only to the American M3 half-track among WWII armored personnel carriers.

Key Features:

  • 3 complete 1/35 scale kits in one box: Sd.Kfz.251/1 Ausf.A, Sd.Kfz.251/6 Ausf.A, le.gl.Einheitz-Pkw Kfz.2
  • German Drivers (1939-1945) figure set included
  • Everything needed for a multi-vehicle German Blitzkrieg vignette

Ideal For:

  • Battle of France 1940 diorama builders
  • German mechanized infantry and Blitzkrieg collectors
