The KA Models MD-20004 1/200 USS Missouri BB-63 Super Detail-Up DX Pack (for Trumpeter) is a premium 1/200 scale naval aftermarket detail set from KA Models (also marketed as MK1 Design), the South Korean manufacturer renowned for producing the highest-quality brass, resin, and wooden deck upgrade sets for 1/200 scale naval and 1/35 scale armor models.
USS Missouri (BB-63) — 'Mighty Mo' — is the most historically significant American battleship ever built: it was on her deck that Japan's formal surrender was signed on 2 September 1945, ending the Second World War. One of the Iowa-class fast battleships, the most powerful surface combatants ever built for the US Navy, Missouri served in the Pacific, Korea, and was even reactivated for the Gulf War of 1991 before being retired to Pearl Harbor as a museum ship. KA Models' MD-20004 Super Detail-Up DX Pack is their most comprehensive aftermarket package for Trumpeter's 1/200 Missouri kit — combining full wooden flight deck planking, brass photo-etched detail sets, pre-painted brass parts, turned metal components, and resin details to elevate the Trumpeter kit to competition-display quality.
