Add one of Germany’s most innovative late‑war self‑propelled anti‑aircraft designs to your collection with the Border Model BT‑039 1/35 Kugelblitz Flak Panzer IV, available now at AFVHobbyHub.com. Designed near the end of World War II, the Kugelblitz featured a fully enclosed rotating turret mounted on the well‑proven Panzer IV chassis, offering enhanced crew protection and improved all‑weather combat capability compared to earlier open‑top Flakapanzers.
This 1/35 scale plastic model kit captures the unique spherical turret design with sharp molding, realistic armor textures, and accurate proportions. Border Model is known for modern tooling, excellent fit, and refined detail, making this kit both a rewarding build and a striking display piece. The closed turret configuration gives the Kugelblitz a distinctive silhouette that stands out among German SPAA vehicles.
Aimed at intermediate to advanced modelers, the BT‑039 provides excellent opportunities for weathering, late‑war camouflage schemes, and historical interpretation.
