1/35 Italian L6/40 light tank - LANMO MODEL MM-35009

The Lanmo Model 1/35 Italian Carro Armato L6/40 Light Tank (MM-35009) is a brand-new 2026 kit of the standard production L6/40, featuring spring suspension, a metal gun barrel, and photo-etched parts — the definitive small-scale Italian light tank in 1/35.

The Carro Armato L6/40 was developed by Fiat-Ansaldo in the late 1930s as a 6-tonne export tank, ultimately adopted by the Italian Royal Army in 1940 to replace the obsolete L3 tankettes. Armed with a 20mm Breda Mod. 35 autocannon and a coaxial 8mm Breda machine gun, it entered service in 1941 and saw action in the Balkans, the Eastern Front, and North Africa. Though quickly outclassed by Allied armor, it remained in frontline service through 1943, with approximately 283–440 units produced. After the Italian armistice, surviving L6/40s were seized by Germany for occupation duties, and the chassis underpinned the successful Semovente 47/32 self-propelled gun.
