The Lanmo Model 1/35 Italian AB40 Autoblinda Ferroviaria (MM-35011) depicts the railway-converted variant of the Autoblinda AB40 armored car, fitted with steel flanged railway wheels for operation on standard European gauge track — a uniquely specialized Italian WWII vehicle.

The Autoblinda AB40 was the Italian Army's standard armored car of 1940–1943, and the Ferroviaria (railway) variant was a dedicated conversion that replaced the rubber road tires with solid steel flanged wheels, allowing the vehicle to operate directly on railway lines. Used primarily for railway patrol and anti-partisan operations in Yugoslavia and the Balkans, the Autoblinda Ferroviaria gave Italian forces rapid armored mobility along rail networks. The AB40 variant was armed with twin Breda 8mm machine guns and saw extensive service from 1941 onwards.
