The Riich Models RV35043 German Hf.7 Horse Drawn Steel Field Wagon is a highly detailed 1/35 scale kit that recreates one of the German Army’s essential horse-drawn transport vehicles used throughout World War II. Designed for supplying frontline troops, artillery units, and support formations, the Hf.7 field wagon played a vital role in military logistics, particularly in areas where motorized transport was limited or impractical.
This kit features an accurately reproduced steel-bodied field wagon complete with finely molded structural details, authentic running gear components, and a realistic horse-drawn configuration. Included are two horses and two crew figures, allowing modelers to create dynamic and historically accurate scenes straight from the box. The combination of vehicle, animals, and personnel makes this set an excellent centerpiece for dioramas depicting supply operations, troop movements, rural road marches, or rear-area logistical activities.
The wagon's detailed construction captures the rugged design of the original vehicle, while the horses are sculpted in natural poses that add realism and movement to any display. The included figures further enhance the scene by representing German personnel responsible for operating and managing the wagon during transport missions.
Suitable for pairing with German infantry, artillery, and support units, the Hf.7 wagon can be displayed carrying supplies, ammunition, equipment, or other cargo commonly transported behind the front lines. The model also offers numerous opportunities for weathering and finishing effects, including mud, dust, worn metal surfaces, and field-use wear, helping create a realistic wartime appearance.
