1/35 “Hürtgenwald” [Scenic Base] - RT Diorama 35058

The RT Diorama 35058 1/35 "Hürtgenwald" (Scenic Base) is a premium diorama set from RT Diorama, the German manufacturer renowned for its high-quality ceramic and resin architectural accessories designed specifically for 1/35 scale military diorama builders.

The Hürtgenwald (Battle of Hürtgen Forest, September 1944 – February 1945) was one of the longest and most costly battles fought by US forces in WWII. The dense fir forests of the German-Belgian border were reduced to a shattered moonscape of broken trees, shell craters, and mud. This scenic base captures the distinctive shattered forest floor terrain of the Hürtgenwald.
