1/35 US Army Case Tractor - Thunder Model TM35001

The Thunder Model TM35001 1/35 1/35 US Army Case Tractor is a premium 1/35 scale kit from Thunder Model. Thunder Model is a Chinese manufacturer that has built a strong reputation for producing highly detailed 1/35 scale kits of engineering, transport, and utility vehicles — subjects that other manufacturers have largely ignored. Their range covers US Army engineering tractors and heavy wreckers, the British Scammell Pioneer family, LRDG patrol vehicles, German railway wagons, and other specialist subjects that are available from no other manufacturer in 1/35 scale.

The Case VAI tractor was one of the standard agricultural tractors pressed into US Army service as an engineering and construction vehicle — used for airfield construction, road building, earthmoving, and general engineering tasks across all theaters of the Second World War. These purpose-built or civilian-converted tractors were the foundation of Allied combat engineering capability and represent an important but rarely modeled category of US military equipment. Thunder Model's TM35001 provides the most detailed 1/35 scale kit of this subject available.
