1/35 US Crawler Sixty - Thunder Model TM35006

The Thunder Model TM35006 1/35 1/35 US Crawler Sixty – Caterpillar Sixty Tractor is a premium 1/35 scale kit from Thunder Model. Thunder Model is a Chinese manufacturer that has built a strong reputation for producing highly detailed 1/35 scale kits of engineering, transport, and utility vehicles — subjects that other manufacturers have largely ignored. Their range covers US Army engineering tractors and heavy wreckers, the British Scammell Pioneer family, LRDG patrol vehicles, German railway wagons, and other specialist subjects that are available from no other manufacturer in 1/35 scale.

The Caterpillar Sixty was one of the most powerful tracked agricultural tractors of the inter-war period, widely used by the US Army for heavy engineering tasks including airfield construction, logging, and heavy earthmoving. The 'Sixty' designation referred to its drawbar horsepower rating, and the vehicle's tracked running gear gave it cross-country capability that wheeled vehicles could not match in soft or broken terrain. Thunder Model's Crawler Sixty is a uniquely detailed kit of this important engineering vehicle.
