1/35 Scammel Pioneer R100 Artillery tractor - Thunder Model TM35202

The Thunder Model TM35202 1/35 1/35 Scammell Pioneer R100 Artillery Tractor is a premium 1/35 scale kit from Thunder Model. Thunder Model is a Chinese manufacturer that has built a strong reputation for producing highly detailed 1/35 scale kits of engineering, transport, and utility vehicles — subjects that other manufacturers have largely ignored. Their range covers US Army engineering tractors and heavy wreckers, the British Scammell Pioneer family, LRDG patrol vehicles, German railway wagons, and other specialist subjects that are available from no other manufacturer in 1/35 scale.

The Scammell Pioneer R100 was the artillery tractor variant — configured to tow heavy artillery pieces including the 7.2-inch howitzer and other heavy ordnance. The R100 featured specific towing and stowage equipment different from the tank transporter and recovery variants. Thunder Model's R100 pairs naturally with their 7.2-inch howitzer kit (TM35211) for a complete heavy artillery diorama subject.
